Spirit Sign

Denise was born in Worchester, Massachusetts, where as a child she would pretend she was on a game show writing songs. Time and dedicated work has proven that she is not only a dreamer but also someone who has made a difference in the music industry.

Denise has written songs for a veritable who’s who of artists, among them Celine Dion, Jody Watley, Patti La Belle, Chaka Khan, Johnny Mathis, Marc Anthony and Burt Bacharach. Her recent endeavors include writing the first single on Diana Ross’s Motown release, “Until We Meet Again and “Don’t Waste Your Time”, a duet for Aretha Franklin and Mary J. Blige.

Yet being one of pop’s premier tunesmiths is just one aspect of Denise’s multi-faceted life and career. With her partner, producer Ric Wake, Denise presides over a vast musical empire encompassing a production company, the W & R Group, Notation Music, a publishing division whose success includes covers by Diana King, Brian McKight, and Celine Dion.

In addition to her talents, Denise is a deeply spiritual woman and committed humanitarian. Recently she created the G & P Charitable Foundation in memory of her beautiful and talented daughter, Gabrielle.

With all her time committed to work and charities, Denise still found the time to co-write the music for zodiacvibrations.com a project she supports with all her heart.
